Mr. Bailey has led cross-functional client teams in a variety of restructuring efforts, including retail store closings, corporate rightsizing and corporate office relocation, department consolidation and restructuring, process realignment, customer and vendor relationship management, inventory reduction and other working capital initiatives.
Selected recent engagements include:
- Financial advisor to a 250-store retail chain; analyzed bankruptcy and out-of-court restructuring alternatives
- Financial advisor to a rural cable television systems operator; prepared analysis comparing bankruptcy versus out-of-court restructuring; also provided bankruptcy planning services and developed the Chapter 11 budget
- Turnaround financial advisor to $325M distributor of doors and openings to the construction industry, where he instituted rolling 13-week cash flow at all business units with separate borrowing bases
Mr. Bailey earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California, Riverside, and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, with an emphasis in finance and information technology. In addition, he was a commissioned officer in the California Army National Guard. Mr. Bailey is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor and a member of both the AIRA and the Turnaround Management Association.
