Margaret Rae Bogenrief is skilled in raising capital, improving
client relations and marketing products and services. She has
worked in a variety of capacities and industries, most recently
directing capital-raising efforts for hedge funds. Her industry

A natural leader, Ms. Bogenrief
founded the nonprofit organization Onward and Upward, which
assists children orphaned by AIDS in the Democratic Republic
of Congo. Ms. Bogenrief authored the nonprofit’s business
plan and presented it to potential donors, gaining vital funding
for the organization.
Prior to that, Ms. Bogenrief led a television news program
in Madison, Wisconsin, where she was the executive news producer
of four newscasts. During her tenure with WKOW-TV, Ms. Bogenrief
helped transform the 10 p.m. newscast to achieve a No. 1 monthly
ranking — a first in the station’s history. The
result was a substantial increase in advertising revenue and
viewership.
Ms. Bogenrief has served in leadership positions in a number
of other businesses, including:
- Interim director of marketing and client relations for
a hedge fund, where she co-directed an initial capital raise
of $100 million, restructured marketing materials, secured
investors and assisted in a performance analysis of proprietary
strategies and peer group funds
- Director of marketing and client relations for a hedge
fund, where she developed important investor relationships
and led a team to significantly increase funds under management
- Sales and marketing associate and project manager for a
major pharmaceutical company, where she selected final vendors
for a point-of-care consumer project
Ms. Bogenrief holds a bachelor’s
degree from the University of Wisconsin — Madison and
a master’s degree in public policy and a master’s
degree in business administration from The University of Chicago.
Her studies at The University of Chicago concentrated on international
economics policy, finance, international business and strategy.
