For more than 20 years, Craig Boucher has brought value to
underperforming companies in a variety of complex situations,
including rapid growth scenarios, out-of-court restructurings
and Chapter 11 proceedings. Mr. Boucher is an accomplished financial
advisor and interim manager, with expertise in corporate restructuring
and crisis management.
Mr. Boucher is particularly skilled in the retail and consumer
products industries, but also has experience in:

In one of his more noteworthy accomplishments, Mr. Boucher
served as CFO for a privately held cosmetic brand with wide
distribution. The company was experiencing significant growth
and required assistance with finance and operations management
and growth capital. Among other responsibilities, he raised
equity to fund the development and expansion of the brand, negotiated
two asset-based revolving lines of credit and successfully led
the company through its first audit. Other significant engagements
include:
- Interim CFO of a $150 million apparel retailer, which he
successfully led through its Chapter 11 proceedings, where
among other duties, he managed and restructured the accounting
and financial planning departments and was instrumental in
developing and implementing a successful Plan of Reorganization
- Interim director of strategic sourcing for a $10 billion
grocery chain in Chapter 11 proceedings, where he managed
and restructured the Strategic Sourcing Department, led the
implementation of a strategic sourcing process, and restructured
IT leases; his efforts greatly reduced costs and improved
productivity
- Interim CFO of two privately held retailers during their
Chapter 11 proceedings, which resulted in a going-concern
sale of one retailer and an asset sale of the other, generating
a significant and unexpected return for unsecured creditors
- Financial advisor for a $350 million retailer and a $250
million commercial construction products distributor
Previously, Mr. Boucher worked for a national professional
services firm that focuses on corporate restructuring, turnaround
management, operational improvement and corporate finance. Mr.
Boucher served as managing director of the Interim Management
and Corporate Restructuring Division, Retail/Consumer Products
Industry Practice.
Mr. Boucher holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from
New Hampshire College. Additionally, Mr. Boucher is a certified
CPA in the state of Maryland.
