An expert in Lean Enterprise practices, Rob Carringer has consulted
with more than 200 companies throughout North America and Europe
over the last 20 years. He has helped numerous companies improve
operations, grow revenue, drive EBITDA and enhance working capital
productivity in various industries, including:

Some of his roles and accomplishments include:
- Advised a bio-diesel and ethanol business through its involuntary
bankruptcy proceedings, including $75 million of debt restructuring
- Operated a chain of 135 convenience stores with $60 million
in secured debt, where he filed for Chapter 11 proceedings
and successfully sold operations through a 363 auction
- Advised a $100 million cellular telephone provider through
a refinancing of its senior and sub debt
- Advised a 37-store retailer of office supply products through
store and organization rightsizing, product line pruning and
a real estate analysis that culminated in a Chapter 11 proceeding
and a 363 sale that reduced lease liability by $1.8 million
- Advised a $325 million LTL trucking company through a liquidity
crisis and debt renegotiation
- Interim CFO/chief restructuring officer (CRO) of a $105
million consumer products company with 300 employees and operations
in three states
- CRO/COO of a $100 million manufacturer of store fixtures,
where he restructured operations, removing $12 million in
annual fixed costs
- CEO and board member of a $100 million integration services
business serving the telecommunications and medical equipment
markets
- Chapter 11 trustee for an e-mail marketing company, where
he conducted the sale process, which resulted in a transaction
for eight times the initial offer
- Managed the analysis, bankruptcy preparation and DIP financing
for a public $135 million pharmacy chain
- Evaluated strategy, cash flow, debt restructuring and operations
cost reduction for a $110 million international specialty
alloy manufacturer
Prior to CRG, Mr. Carringer held leadership roles in a 100-person
firm focused on Lean Enterprise consulting with GE, Stanley
Works, Honeywell, Bell+Howell, Digital Microwave, Olin, Marion
Merrill Dow and Halliburton. He was a Captain in the U.S. Air
Force Manufacturing Technology program where he led the development
of technology for international data exchange standards.
Mr. Carringer holds his bachelor’s and master’s
degrees in industrial engineering from The Pennsylvania State
University. He is a Certified Manufacturing Engineer and holds
a certified Turnaround Professional designation from the Turnaround
Management Association.
