Mr. Hsu has managed vendor communications and supported the development and implementation of integrated cash flow models and operational improvement initiatives.A few noteworthy assignments include:

• Developed and implemented operational improvement initiatives that increased process efficiencies and productivity for a manufacturer and services provider of high-speed imaging equipment
• Served on the interim management team for a $135 million international motorcycle products manufacturer and distributor during its Chapter 11 proceedings and asset sale, where he prepared a DIP budget and 13-week cash flow model, assisted with liquidity management and improved communications with external parties
• Conducted a business plan assessment and cost analysis of manufacturing and raw material expenses for a $185 million textiles company specializing in carpet and high-end fabric
• Analyzed the domestic and international transportation logistics of a $200 million retail distribution company, where he identified, developed and implemented significant cost reduction initiatives
• Constructed a 36-month cash flow model with multiple revenue and cost reduction scenarios and a 13-week cash flow model in conjunction with a business plan assessment and cost reduction plan for a publishing company that owns 33 magazines
• Prepared an offering memorandum and due diligence materials for a quick-service restaurant chain
• Previously, Mr. Hsu worked as a financial analyst for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, the nation’s fifth largest mass transit system, where he assisted in the allocation and management of a $1.2 billion operating budget and selected capital projects for the MBTA.

Mr. Hsu holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Babson College, where his studies focused on finance and marketing. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and The Association for Operations Management and received his Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) designation.
