Dan Dixon has more than 18 years of financial executive experience.
He has demonstrated the ability to carefully and quickly identify
financial problems and implement solutions that increase profitability
for the stakeholders. He has experience in a broad range of
industries, including:

Mr. Dixon has extensive experience overseeing the financial
and treasury functions of businesses as well as facilitating
relationships with senior lenders, equity and management in
complex situations.
Notable engagements include:
- Interim CFO for a $150 million analog/digital communication
equipment company, where he supported the development and
implementation of the reorganization plan, negotiated vendor
payment plans, extended $4 million in aged payables for an
additional time and supervised completion of the annual audit
- Interim controller for a women’s accessory retailer,
where he streamlined operations and implemented costing improvements
and inventory and accounts receivable controls as well as
a vendor relationship management program
- Interim CFO for $100 million water fountain manufacturer
emerging from an Article 9 transaction, where he ensured compliance
with regulatory requirements, negotiated settlements and terms
with vendors, improved product costing, converted accounting
systems, managed collections and prepared for an audit
- Associate director of restructuring for an international
publishing company in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings; responsible
for all financial and treasury functions; following an asset
sale, the company provided a return to bondholders and a significant
recovery to unsecured creditors
- Turnaround advisor for a linens company in default of loan
covenants, where he led initiatives to trim expenses, reduce
loan balance, renegotiate payment terms and reach targeted
annual profitability run rate of $1 million
- Turnaround agent for an office relocation business, where
he developed a reorganization plan, negotiated vendor payment
plans and hired a strong CFO
Mr. Dixon earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting
from the University of North Dakota and his master’s degree
in finance from the University of Dallas. He is a Certified
Public Accountant licensed with the state of Texas and a member
of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds
a Sarbanes-Oxley Certification from the Sarbanes-Oxley Institute
and a Certified Turnaround Professional designation from the
Turnaround Management Association
