Mr. Donnell has provided operational and financial advisory
services for numerous companies and has assisted both debtors
and creditors with complex business restructurings. A few of
his engagements include:
- Financial advisor for a $200 million fire truck and chassis
manufacturer during its Chapter 11 proceedings
- Performed a competitor benchmarking study and valuation
analysis for various bondholders of an $800 million wireless
telecommunications company
- Advised the board of directors for a $170 million restoration,
construction and interior services company
- Provided strategic and operational advisory services to
a $100 million marketer of outdoor and work-wear apparel
- Advised the senior secured lenders in the debt-for-equity
restructuring of a $160 million auto parts manufacturer
- Represented the secured bondholder group of a building
products company in a highly contested negotiation over the
payment waterfall of asset sale proceeds
Previously, Mr. Donnell served as the senior vice president
of portfolio management for an asset management firm, where
he was responsible for managing corporate control equity investments
for a closed-end, private equity limited partnership. Prior
to that, he served as a managing director of corporate recovery
for a restructuring and turnaround management firm.
Mr. Donnell holds a bachelor's degree with concentrations in
finance and real estate from Texas Christian University and
an MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt
University. He is a CFA charter holder and a Certified Turnaround
Professional.
