Dustin Lough has nearly 15 years of experience in turnaround, crisis management, business valuation and acquisition due diligence. He has worked in a wide variety of industries, including:

Mr. Lough is skilled in implementing effective turnaround strategies, crisis management, cash flow management and creditor advisory services. In addition, he is an accomplished interim executive, having served in interim management positions in Eastern Europe and the U.K. A few of his engagements include:

• Interim chief financial officer (CFO) for a textile manufacturer of knit and woven fabrics and yarns   
• Chief restructuring officer (CRO) for a grocery and frozen food distributor, where he provided cash management services, negotiated debt restructuring with various creditors, and managed the business toward positive cash flow and profitability
• Advisor to publicly traded, global designer and manufacturer of footwear and apparel where he determined the working capital required to sustain operations through the Company’s seasonal fluctuations in revenue and assisted in the development of the Company’s plan to return to profitability
• Advisor to a publicly traded, international restaurant chain where he assisted the Company through a sale process, refinancing of secured debt, and completion of a comprehensive business plan and budget
• Managed the liquidation of an integrated steel mill under Chapter 1, where he prepared a DIP budget, working capital management, and the successful disposition of inventory and other assets
• Validated the operating and business plan for a consolidator of advertising agencies, digital imaging companies and marketing services firms, where he identified the risks associated with the company (relative to the bank’s proposed funding) and opined on the viability of the company’s operations

Previously, Mr. Lough was with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the Corporate Value Consulting practice, where he advised business owners and management on valuation and due diligence issues associated with acquisitions, divestitures and corporate planning.

Mr. Lough holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Auburn University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He also maintains the Certified Insolvency and Reorganization Advisor accreditation.
