Gary Lembo has more than 15 years of combined experience in operational and financial restructuring and corporate finance. Mr. Lembo has provided turnaround, financial and bankruptcy advisory services to numerous companies and has been Instrumental in several cross border insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings for companies in the U.S., the U.K. and Europe.

His broad industry expertise includes:

Mr. Lembo has served in a variety of senior level positions and is particularly skilled at assisting clients through challenging situations, such as turnarounds, divestitures and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, he has been instrumental in a number of large restructurings. A few noteworthy accomplishments include:

• Chief restructuring officer (CRO) for a $160 million restaurant company that manages three brands: Charlie Browns Steakhouse, Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse and The Office Beer Bar and Grill
• Provided financial and operational advisory services to the senior lenders of a large wire transfer company along with leading all amendment discussions with the equity sponsor 
• Led a team that provided advisory and interim management services to a $300 million temporary staffing organization resulting in a successful restructuring of the operations and recapitalization of debt
• Provided financial restructuring services for the nation's largest producer of redwood lumber, where he secured $185 million in DIP financing and developed a reorganization plan, approved by the bankruptcy court, which maximized the recovery to all parties and addressed the unique concerns of the various constituencies
• Advised an international manufacturer and distributer of industrial printing supplies, where he was responsible for developing and implementing various restructuring initiatives
• Originated, structured and managed $1 billion in DIP financing for a real estate development company
• Structured and negotiated DIP financing for a $500 million airline company

Mr. Lembo holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and an MBA from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Maryland. He is an adjunct professor of accounting and corporate finance at New York University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
