Mr. Bailey has more than 10 years of restructuring experience, with special expertise in advising senior executives on financial and operational improvement opportunities, liquidity generation, vendor management and banking relationships, as well as crisis management. He has been involved in many of out-of-court and Chapter 11 restructurings, including serving as interim executive.

Mr. Bailey has served clients in multiple industries, including:

Mr. Bailey has led cross-functional client teams in a variety of restructuring efforts, such as inventory reduction and other working capital initiatives, 4-wall cash flow analysis, sale of operating divisions, functional department consolidation, process realignment, as well as customer and vendor relationship management.

Selected recent engagements include:

• Chief restructuring officer (CRO) of a family owned residential and commercial construction company, where he negotiated a forbearance agreement with the secured lender and advised management on cost reductions
• CRO of wine company with multiple labels and wineries in the western United States
• Restructuring advisor to a $100 million manufacturer of non-woven materials, where he prepared and executed a plan to restructure operations, reduce working capital investment and divest operating units
• Financial advisor to a 250-store retail chain, where he analyzed the in- and out-of-court restructuring alternatives and managed the asset divestiture, administrative expense reduction and Chapter 11 strategy
• Restructuring advisor to a $325 million distributor of doors and openings to the construction industry, where he advised on liquidity generation and cash management
• Financial advisor to a rural cable television systems operator providing bankruptcy planning services and strategy

Mr. Bailey earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Riverside, and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, with an emphasis in finance and information technology. In addition, he was a commissioned officer in the California Army National Guard. Mr. Bailey is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor.
