Leading companies as an interim executive, Jon Nash has planned and managed reorganization and turnaround strategies, negotiated placements of debt and equity and successfully guided companies through bankruptcy and out-of-court restructuring. His experience includes work in a broad range of industries, including:

Mr. Nash has extensive international experience and, having lived in China, has managed many companies throughout the Pacific Rim, the Middle East, China and Europe. With more than a decade of senior-management experience in a broad mix of companies, he has extensive experience providing strategic leadership in crisis situations, solving short-term cash related issues and implementing financial planning, budgeting and expense control.

Recent assignments include:

• Financial advisor to a $600 million bakery where he developed and executed changes in commodity purchasing and in operations resulting in a 100% increase in EBITDA in 6 months.  Ultimately, the company was sold to strategic buyer for a complete recovery for all creditors and a substantial ROI for equity
• Financial advisor to a $1 billion bedding company during Chapter 11 restructuringand sale
• Chief restructuring officer (CRO) of a multi-brand wine producer headquartered in Northern California
• Chief executive officer (CEO) of a textiles manufacturer with operations in Dothan, Alabama and in Qingdao and Kaiping, China where he increased EBITDA by 200% while customers were rationalized and operations improved
• CEO and CRO for Uniflex, an advertising specialties company that he successfully led through bankruptcy where he reduced costs, grew EBITDA during a period of declining sales and managed the marketing and sale of the assets to a financial buyer
• CRO for Jing Liang Electronics in Shenzhen, China, a company that produces sensors for a variety of industrial, medical and consumer applications where he reorganized financial and operational areas, implemented an MRP system, and made process and productivity improvements that led to record production and profitability levels

Mr. Nash received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. He is active in the Turnaround Management Association and the ABI.
