Kevin Gifford has more than 10 years of financial restructuring and advisory experience and is highly skilled in business model due diligence, risk assessment, financial modeling, capital structure evaluation and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Mr. Gifford has assisted client companies with liquidity and crisis management. He is a trusted advisor and negotiator with particular expertise in strategic planning and financial assessment. Noteworthy accomplishments include:

• Conducted various financial analyses and a balance sheet restructuring for a $250 million marketing services provider, where he collaborated with the chief executive officer (CEO) and chief financial officer (CFO) on cash management, working capital improvements, business divestitures, operational improvements and creditor negotiations
• Provided crisis management and financial restructuring for a consumer products manufacturer, where he managed liquidity, restructured the balance sheet and developed a strategic, financial plan
• Assisted with the financial restructuring of a retail petroleum services provider, where he also worked with the CEO to construct operational improvement strategies, including a more robust financial reporting system and cost controls
• Developed a 13-week cash forecast, performed cash variance reporting and assessed the financial forecast for a $180 million consumer products marketer
• Produced detailed strategic alternative analyses and cash forecast assessments through a Chapter 11 proceeding of a $900 million manufacturer of motor homes and fabricated housing
• Performed due diligence services for more than 100 potential business acquisitions, where he conducted operational, financial and industry assessments, developed financial models and provided valuation analyses

Previously, Mr. Gifford worked for the special situations group of Goldman, Sachs & Co. While there, he led deal teams though the investment process for private, middle-market companies across the entire capital structure.

Mr. Gifford holds a bachelor's degree in economics with a concentration in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He also has an MBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
