For more than 35 years Greg Murphy has provided operational
and financial leadership to companies in a variety of complex
situations. He has extensive experience managing financial institution
relationships, renegotiating and restructuring credit facilities
and leases and -- when necessary -- securing alternative financing
options for the companies he represents. His industry experience
includes:

Mr. Murphy is highly skilled in corporate finance, with particular
expertise working with distressed debt, credit policies and
loan portfolios. A few noteworthy accomplishments include:
- Financial advisor to a fund managing more than $4 billion
in assets
- Maintained the final credit authority for and assisted in
the restructuring negotiation of Bank of America’s largest
problem, middle-market, commercial assets
- Enabled bottom-line improvement for numerous companies by
aggressively renegotiating all service contracts, which significantly
reduced costs
- Led the management and sale of more than $250 million in
commercial real estate, including income and non-income producing
properties, oil and gas properties and bank branches throughout
the United States
Previously, Mr. Murphy served as the executive managing director
and chief operating officer of Patriarch Partners, LLC, where
he established a Charlotte, North Carolina office to service,
restructure and collect distressed commercial and real estate
secured loans. Prior to that, he spent more than 20 years at
Bank of America and its predecessors, most recently as a senior
credit risk manager of commercial special assets.
Mr. Murphy holds a bachelor's degree in business administration
from Northeastern University. He has served on the board of
directors for numerous companies and is currently a member of
the Turnaround Management Association.
