Peter Richter has more than 20 years of executive, entrepreneurial and restructuring experience. He has helped numerous companies improve operations, grow revenue, drive EBITDA, enhance working capital, negotiate placements of debt and equity and monetize underperforming business segments in various industries, including:

Mr. Richter‘s expertise includes crisis management, operational and financial restructuring, due diligence, valuation and sale of non-core business units, balance sheet restructuring, equity raises and post-acquisition integration. Mr. Richter has more than a decade of senior-management experience ranging from start-up companies to mature well positioned entities. He has also provided operational and financial advisory services in both out-of-court and Chapter 11 restructurings. A few noteworthy accomplishments include:

• Led the due diligence process and assisted the CFO with the internal financial restructuring efforts of a $1 billion mattress manufacturer
• Led the marketing and sale of a $200 million textile manufacturer in a Chapter 11 363 sale process realizing more than double the original stalking horse bid
• Managed and determined the working capital needs of a $500 million grocery business, managed the ABL banking relationship and credit facility
• Developed the strategic alternative analysis for an auto parts manufacturer and prepared the company for the 363 asset sale process, ultimately the company avoided bankruptcy and was purchased by a strategic buyer out-of-court
• Prepared viability analysis of a $200 million distributor in the recreational vehicle industry
• Led the design and implementation of an inside sales call center for a $300 million petroleum distribution company, lowering their cost to serve
• Controller and a general manager for a $475 million automobile glass replacement company with 400+ retail locations, multiple distribution centers and two call centers, he managed a $100 million business unit within the parent company and led the financial systems integration of a $200 million merger
• President and CEO for a start-up, third-party administrator of property and casualty insurance claims, where he secured initial private equity investments
• Vice president of finance and secretary of the board for a leading consolidator in the automobile collision industry

Mr. Richter holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Eastern Illinois University. He is a Certified Turnaround Professional and is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the Association of Corporate Growth.
