Parham Pouladdej has over 20 years of experience developing and implementing financial, operational and strategic plans for underperforming companies. He has led over 1,000 workout and/or turnaround plans for companies in the United States and Europe, and has experience in a wide variety of industries, including:

Previously, Mr. Pouladdej worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers’ Financial Advisory Services, where he was actively involved in more than 100 assignments, such as corporate recoveries, business takeovers, downsizing and litigation support. His engagements have been diverse in nature, ranging from the short-term analysis of financial and operating systems to long-term assignments such as chief restructuring officer (CRO) of client companies. A few noteworthy engagements include:

• Turnaround consultant and financial advisor to the board of a $700 million media company; developed and implemented a financial and operational turnaround plan; de-leveraged the company and brought a significant return to investors
• CRO of a $1.2 billion construction and real estate holding company; developed and implemented successful restructuring plan
• Developed and managed crisis/wind-down and asset disposition strategy for a $400 million consumer products manufacturer; resulted in higher returns to stakeholders
• Interim CFO of a $300 million multi-location healthcare provider; developed and implemented a financial and operational restructuring plan; resulted in substantial cost savings and improved operating economics and fiscal discipline
• CRO for numerous companies in Poland; developed and implemented financial and operational restructuring plans; resulted in significant returns to investors

Mr. Pouladdej holds a bachelor’s degree in management from the University of Massachusetts. He is a CPA, CTP and he has served on numerous boards of directors for both public and private companies. An expert in his field, Mr. Pouladdej has prepared training materials and held many seminars in business turnaround and workout strategies.
