Bob Kiger brings more than 35 years of management and consulting experience to distressed and underperforming companies. In these roles, Mr. Kiger rapidly identified and corrected the critical operational issues for the underperforming companies. He managed inventories, deliveries and cash availability, evaluated organizational assets and managed personnel.

Mr. Kiger has a solid reputation in: operations, manufacturing, standard cost systems, information technology, plant start-ups and turnaround, profit improvement, materials management, quality assurance and logistics and distribution. His background enables him to cut to the core of organizational and operating problems, then identify and implement lasting solutions.

Since starting his own firm in 1990, and later with RKG Osnos Partners, LLC, Mr. Kiger gained significant experience as an interim executive, acting as:

• Executive vice president of operations for a hosiery manufacturer
• Managing director for a privately-held textile and apparel company, with operations in Hungary and Romania
• COO for a $160 million ladies' apparel manufacturer and importer
• Executive vice president of operations and COO for a $300 million licensed apparel screen-print and embroidery company
• Executive vice president of operations for a $150 million medical device corporation

Prior to consulting, he held engineering, manufacturing and operations positions with several Fortune 500 companies, including Corning Glass, Abbott Laboratories, Black & Decker and Sara Lee Corporation.

Mr. Kiger holds both bachelor's and master's degrees from North Carolina State University, and completed the academic requirements for a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering. Additionally, he was a regular army officer (captain) in the U.S. Army Ordinance Corps, serving as a nuclear weapons maintenance officer.
