Mr. Bienias has provided turnaround management, strategic planning and financial advisory services to companies in a wide range of industries, both out-of-court and during Chapter 11 proceedings. Notable assignments include:

• Financial advisor for a U.S. securities company with more than $1 billion in annual sales, where he co-led a turnaround team to devise and implement cost-saving initiatives and created financial models to quantify those initiatives
• Engagement manager for the Chapter 11 financial advisory team of a technology manufacturer with $1.6 billion in annual sales, where he provided reorganization planning and preparation services, developed a 13-week cash flow forecast and helped create an integrated monthly budget
• Financial advisor for a distributor with $4.5 billion in annual sales during its Chapter 11 proceedings, where he created a five-year business plan, led the executory contract review process and managed the sale of idle/excess assets
• Provided Chapter 11 proceedings support for a consumer goods manufacturer with $430 million in annual sales, where he reduced costs and managed the development of productivity analyses, budgets, financial models and business plans
• Financial advisor for a hotel owner and operator with $600 million in annual sales, where he restructured the balance sheet and initiated a capital expenditure policy

Mr. Bienias holds a bachelor's degree from Grand Valley State University and an MBA from the University of Michigan. He is a Certified Turnaround Professional, a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor and a Certified Treasury Professional. Additionally, Mr. Bienias is a member of several professional organizations, including the Turnaround Management Association, the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Association for Financial Professionals.
