Scott Meader has more than 20 years of advising food manufacturing businesses on financial and operational matters. Mr. Meader possesses a comprehensive focus on operations, finance and marketing and is skilled at developing and running high-performance food manufacturing companies operating in the retail sector. A few of his engagements include:

• President and Chief Executive Officer of Milnot Holding Corporation (branded and private label food products) that culminated in successful sale of business and profitable return to private equity and management owners where he grew $60 million regional brand portfolio to a $220 million national platform through internal growth and highly leveraged acquisitions as well as managed all communications among effective and engaged board of directors
• VP of North American Manufacturing for Burns Philp where he led consolidation of four U.S. plants to one, and then managed that facility that required the management of three union manufacturing facilities with 400-900 employees each
• Negotiated, completed, and integrated six acquisitions and divestitures with 10 to 12 additional acquisitions and mergers evaluated and bid. He also raised syndicated bank credit facilities and paid down $80 million in debt related to the acquisition of the Beech-Nut Nutrition Corp. ahead of plan and routinely assisted Madison Dearborn Partners in evaluation of acquisitions
• Recruited and developed a high-performing organization widely respected in retail food channels with an emphasis on the execution of aligned objectives and strategic plans that focused on culture, resulting in extraordinarily low employee turnover
• Proven operations improvement expertise in dealing with management consultant to major food manufacturers on leading-edge supply chain initiatives
• Experienced working with both branded and private label product commodities

Mr. Meader has served as a former member of the board for Pierre Foods, Inc. and is currently the chairman of the board for Nells Neutraceuticals, LLC. He also is an active board member for various St. Louis charities and not-for-profit organizations for the last twelve years.

Mr. Meader earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University with majors in operations, finance, and marketing.
